John F. Silver
Co-founder

John grew up in New Britain and became a fan of the Huskies just like everyone else — during the Dream Season in 1989-90. He is a 2000 graduate of UConn, where he majored in both journalism and sociology, while also obtaining a resident studies degree at Ted’s Restaurant. John went on to produce award-winning coverage of UConn football for the Manchester Journal-Inquirer, CBSsports.com, and SNY from 2006 to 2015. He has also served as an AP Top 25 and Heisman Trophy voter as well as on various All-American selection committees. John was there for all the highs of UConn football, such as the win at Notre Dame and the Fiesta Bowl experience, as well as the lows, including the loss against Towson at home. John began working at ESPN in 2016 and currently works in the communications field.

Zac Boyer
Co-founder

Zac grew up in South Windsor and likes to joke that after UConn won national championships in men’s and women’s basketball in 2004, he had to attend the university. He graduated in 2008 with two incredibly useful degrees, journalism and history, and began covering UConn while working for The Hartford Courant as a junior. He then moved to the Washington area to cover the Washington Redskins, became the sports editor of The Washington Times and has also worked for ESPN, the Associated Press and The Athletic, where he was most recently an NFL editor. After three years living overseas, he now lives in the middle of nowhere and enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and pug, Petunia.
